THEATER
This year we will be performing a theatrical performance called Amerikids. Join the AmeriKids Convention in progress as Delegates Yanky Doodle and the other delegates learn about the faith that made our country great. Hear seldom-heard words from such historical figures as Ben Franklin, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, and learn of the early 18th century AmeriKids' faith in the Bible, prayer, God's protection, and salvation through Christ
Hands-on Mathematics
In our math class, games are tailored to each child's individual level. This class is designed to supplement the learning that parents are already facilitating at home and to help students discover the fun in mathematics.
Science
We will be doing science experiments that reveal the order and grandeur of creation and encourage an appreciation of all that God has made. These experiments will illustrate the laws of nature, teach biblical principles and affirm God's power as Creator. Science experiments will be age appropriate.
American History- Conquerors
We will be using the book Americas Story 1. Students will read a chapter at home and then we will have an activity to complete in class. Reading the book at home is optional but will help with understanding the activity. ( this will be the onlyat-homee activity)
Geography- Warriors
We will travel around the United States learning about the different states and geographical regions in the United States.
Art
At CHAMPS we will explore different genres of art. Prepare to get messy!
